Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Mintround. By buying or using Mintround you accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you buy on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
Who we are
Mintround is a company registered in Estonia. You can reach us at hello@mintround.com. How we handle data is covered in our privacy notice.
What Mintround provides
Mintround is a directory of professional investors with verified business contact information, so founders can reach them directly. Browsing and searching the directory are free and unlimited on every plan. Revealing an investor's email address costs one email credit, and each paid plan includes a set number of credits each month: Founder Starter ($49 per month, 25 credits), Founder Pro ($199 per month, 250 credits) and Startup Scale ($499 per month, 1,000 credits). Yearly billing is available at a 10% discount. Credits reset at the start of each billing period and do not carry over. You are never charged a credit for an address we cannot find, and re-viewing a contact you have already revealed is always free. A new account receives 3 email credits once, at signup. Your account
Access is tied to your Mintround account, which you sign in to with Google or a verified email address (no password). Your plan, revealed contacts and downloads live there and work on any device you sign in from. Keep your email account secure; anyone who can sign in as you can use your access.
Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation
Plans renew automatically each billing period (monthly, or yearly if you chose yearly billing) until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, you keep access and any remaining credits until then, and nothing is charged afterwards. Changing plan is done from your account: an upgrade applies immediately, is prorated for the rest of the period, and tops your credit balance up to the new plan's allowance; a downgrade applies at your next renewal and never removes credits already granted. On a yearly plan, credits are still granted monthly across the year. If a renewal payment fails, paid access is paused until the payment succeeds; Stripe will retry and may cancel the plan after repeated failures.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars and billed monthly in advance. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as merchant of record and handles any applicable VAT or sales tax at checkout, so the tax you see is collected and remitted by Stripe. We may change prices with notice before your next renewal; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
Retired one-time purchases
Mintround previously sold one-time “lifetime access” products. Those products are no longer sold, and with the move to credit-based plans they no longer carry ongoing access to reveal investor emails; accounts holding them move to the free plan. We know this is a change to what was originally described, and we are not going to pretend otherwise: if you bought one of those products and are affected, email hello@mintround.com and we will make it right.
Refunds
Because you can cancel at any time and keep access to the end of the paid month, we do not refund partial months or past renewals, except where the law of your country of residence requires it. If something went wrong with a charge, email hello@mintround.com and we will sort it out.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute the investor data, in whole or in part;
• scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the site beyond the export features we provide;
• share, resell, or pool a single plan across multiple businesses or a team beyond your own use;
• use the contacts for unlawful, deceptive, or abusive messaging, or in breach of anti-spam and data-protection laws (including GDPR and CAN-SPAM) that apply to your outreach;
• attempt to break, overload, or circumvent the security or access controls of the service.
You are solely responsible for how you contact investors and for complying with the laws that apply to you. Breaching this section may end your access without a refund.
The investor directory
Listings contain professional, business-capacity contact information gathered from public and licensed sources. We verify deliverability but do not guarantee that any address is current, that a message will be read, or that any investor will reply or invest. Any investor can request removal at any time from our opt-out page, and we may add, change, or remove listings at our discretion.
Intellectual property
The database, the site, and all related content are owned by Mintround. Your plan or purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the contacts for your own fundraising outreach. It does not transfer ownership or any right to resell or redistribute the data.
Discounts
Promotional discounts (for example an introductory first-month price) are applied at checkout, have no cash value, cannot be combined unless we say so, and may be changed or withdrawn at any time. After any introductory period the plan renews at the regular price.
Disclaimers
The service and the data are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Mintround is a data and introductions tool, not investment advice, and we do not promise any fundraising outcome.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mintround is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the “last updated” date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. We may suspend or end access that breaches these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Estonia and the European Union, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Estonia, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
